Email is not working on the server, so registrations for any of the domains is not working. I'm looking into it.
If you are a verified user please email [Email] with your username, your receipt, and we will get you marked as verified.
The data in IB is from 8/2011 so if your realm was created after that, you will needed to email us at [Email] with your realm name. We can look up all the other info in our archives to get it setup again.
If you had an infinity bound email address and want it back, email us at [Email] with the email address you had and we will get it set back up.

The email server is broken.
I am well aware of it.
No one is getting statistics, post extracts, password resets, or registrations. No one.
They are all queued up on the server just waiting for the email server to be fixed.
I promise, as soon as it is fixed you'll know; your inbox will hate you.

Hey Gang!
So, the server move was ROUGH. I had to learn a lot more about servers than I knew before in a very short amount of time. So, thank you so much for your patience!
The upside of the move: Bigger, better server.
The downside of the move: I am not on my own as far as fixing things altogether.
There is an issue where some people's web space name's got removed from their login. I don't know why it did that. But it's easy to fix. You email us, and we will fix it in the database. Do NOT create a new name.
If you're experiencing any other issues, don't hesitate to contact us.
One other thing that has changed is the tag size limit. We have now set a 650 character limit in your TITLE box and a 200 character limit in your (TAGLINE) box. This will help cut down database size, and preserve my sanity when in a room.
We appreciate that some of you care more about your tag than your post and that this will upset you. We apologize and recommend you check out all the other sites out there, if you cannot live with this request.

We will be shutting the database servers down on 6/11/2011 at about 8 AM CST (9 EST, 7 MST, 6 PST). This is so we can do a full backup of the databases.
We expect this downtime to last about two hours.
All of the following sites will be down:

It runs a VERY old version of the ER code. So you cannot import your stuff there. But it will work if you just can't wait for our stuff to come back up.

Sorry for the lack of response from the admin. Garth doesn't really handle any coding issues, and I have been sick.
There are a lot of things going on in our lives that keeps us away from the computer as well.

2. If you are still in the stone ages and using hotmail/yahoo, or any other free service, for email, then likely any emails sent from Infinity Bound have gone to your spam folder.

It has been brought to our attention that several people have been disrespectful to certain people, and sites, in regards to their appearance on Infinity Bound.
ALL people are allowed on Infinity Bound. This includes the other sites owners of all the sites out there. ALL bans were removed in December in an effort to get Infinity Bound back to what it should be, a community for everyone, without fear of intrusive staff.
If you have an issue with another chatter, you need to use ignore. Not whine about it in public, or PM. Not pick a fight with them. Not cry foul when you feel they will not leave you alone. If you do not know how to use ignore, please contact us via [Link] and we will show you how. If you are having trouble ignoring a user, we will put the chatter in ignore for you. You have to contact us via the form, but then I (Roo) will go into the database and make sure that person's in your ignore.
Room Owners are the final say in their realm in regards to the rules of their realm. All issues need to go to them if it is happening in a realm. If you feel that a site rule has been violated, then you need to save your posts (not copy and paste) via the save posts function, and email them to at [Email] Or alert a realm owner immediately so they can pull a post extract to provide to the staff.
Please behave like an adult and be proactive in making your experience enjoyable. It is not the responsibility of the realm owners, or site owners, to take care of your problems.

Realm owners are allowed to run their room as they see fit, so long as they do not violate the AuP in Garth and Roo's opinion. No one else's opinion on the matter counts when a decision is made. So while you may not agree with something going on in a room, it does not give you free reign to make everyone else miserable in the room about it.
Please remember this is about playing a game, having fun, relaxing, or whatever else that does not involve work. And when you can't get along in one place you should venture to another. There are plenty of rooms out there.

Hello! Most of you, or some of you, may have gotten new machines for Christmas and find yourself having a hard time with the streaming mode of chat.
This is likely due to a cookies issue. This can especially happen if you use the automatic login feature. But it should be an easy fix.
INTERNET EXPLORER:
Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites.
Add *.infinitybound.net (remove the checkmark for requiring https://).
Then go to the General Tab and delete your cookies/temp files.
FIREFOX:
Go to Tools > Options > Security
Add *.infinitybound.net to the add-on exceptions.
Click on Privacy and add *.infinitybound.net to the cookies exceptions.
Delete your cookies/temp files.
It's also important to note that if your anti-virus/firewall blocks cookies you will need to add *.infinitybound.net to your exceptions there as well.

Ban Notifications

All users who were previously banned from site level access have had their ban removed.
Realm owners are still able to ban said users from their realm without any reason, but the users are allowed on the site without restriction otherwise.
For those of you who were sponsored users and were banned from the site, your account will be restroed to sponsor status once you create a new login, if you choose to return to Infinity Bound.

There will be no realm maintenance until January 1, 2011. This is due to the high levels of school, work, holidays, and time away from the computer.
