Incomplete Sin

Congratulations, You're Fucked.

The term ‘Gothic-Punk’ has been used to describes the modern world as a broken down, dark and sometimes very scary version of itself. When walking down an avenue in this world it seems that every other street lamp is either broken or non-functional. Blatant political and corporate corruptions are the rule rather than the exception and it seems that around every corner there is someone with an axe to grind. Police, fat with bribes, turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the needs of the few ‘good’ citizens left trying to eek out a living among thieves, murders, rapits, arsonists and other unsavories.

Cities that haven’t fallen into complete disrepear continue to show signs of a slow, ominous urban decay. Ghettos, slums and other seedier sections slowly enroach on the once picturesque downtowns and ‘better side of the tracks’, turning them into broken-window afterimages without so much as an eyeblink and leaving people yearing for the good old days before everything went to shit.

Incomplete Sin’s world is a modern day dystopia where you play by the fast and dirty or get left behind nothing but a knife in your back and a short life of heartbreak and dissapointment. Dreams of a squeaky-clean lifestyle are well out of your reach unless you’ve got the clout and the money to claw or buy your way up a ladder where the bottoms rungs have been coated with oil or just aren’t there. In this world, the rich get richer by feeding off the poor until there’s nothing left but a cold and dead (but suprisingly consumer saturated) husk left to be tossed about in a breeze that reeks of car exhaust, stale frustration and pain.

However. Unlike the most prominent incarnation of the genre the state of the world has no supernatural influences of any kind. Humanity dug itself into it’s own rank little oubliuette without any help from the shadow world and anything from that world-within-a-world is just along for the ride. That’s not to say that they haven’t done anything, they just don’t have their fingers in as many pies as everyone seems to think they do.

This is the world you’ve been born into. Get used to it.

NOTE: Due to the crash we are slowly recovering data. Thank you for your patience.
